Kevin Gyori
Software engineer building product features in React and TypeScript, currently inside Windows desktop software. I prototype constantly, and some of it ships.
Projects
DOOM on ESP32
Built with Kim Kam in about five hours at the Granola Hardware Hack Day, where it won a technical prize. One ESP32-S3 runs DOOM, and a second acts as a Bluetooth controller with tilt movement, touch buttons, and game audio streamed to its speaker.
github.com/kevingyori/esp-doom-granolaReadmark
A Python tool that turns a web article into a quiet A4 reading edition for printing and annotating by hand. Each article is split into a few territories that drive a route map, landmark glyphs, running headers and edge markers, while the author's prose is left untouched.
Nostos
A native Swift macOS app and Chrome extension for jumping between browser tabs. Chrome publishes recently used tabs with screenshots and favicons, and a native bridge shares that state over Unix sockets with SwiftUI and terminal clients.
github.com/kevingyori/nostosArpoon
A native macOS utility, built in one evening with Codex, that binds live apps and windows to shortcuts and focuses them instantly. Grid mode arranges projects as rows and tools as columns, with directional navigation and a HUD. Inspired by Harpoon and niri.
github.com/kevingyori/arpoon-macosWikipane
A Wikipedia client that opens linked articles side by side in panes, inspired by Andy Matuschak's Evergreen Notes. Prototyped in React, then rebuilt in Solid.
